Just a short post to highlight some recently rolled out minor enhancements to improve the usability of Project for the web. Persistent views for the project makes using project for the web more convenient. If you collapsed or expanded a summary task – these are persisted, the summary tasks remain expanded or collapsed as they were the last time the project was modified. If you changed the column widths for a project these too are now persisted for the project.
The next time myself or another user accesses this test project, they will see the view as seen above. Worth pointing out, these persistent views are not personal views, they are at the project view level and not at the personal user view level – just in case you find the project view wasn’t how you left it and wasn’t sure what’s happening!
