Sprints in #Projectfortheweb #WorkManagement #TaskManagement #ProjectManagement #MicrosoftProject #PPM #Agile

Manage work in Sprints and want to use Project for the web? Well now you can with the new Sprints feature. Accessing the Board view you will see the new Sprint option:

Accessing this view shows the tasks grouped by the sprints:

All tasks will be in the Backlog to when you access this view for the first time. Microsoft provide a Default Sprint but this can be edited by clicking the column header:

New Sprints can be added using the Add sprint button:

The sprint dates can’t overlap, if you try to do this as seen below, Sprint 3 starts before Sprint 2 ends:

This will fail – hopefully the error message will improve in the future:

Tasks can be added to a sprint by dragging the task card to the sprint column in the new sprint view or using the Sprint option on the task pane:

A nice addition to Project for the web.
