Welcome to my Microsoft Project blog focusing on modern work management. This blog contains posts dedicated to Microsoft Project, Project Server, Project Online, Planner, Azure DevOps, Project for the Web and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI).

About me:

I am a Microsoft PPM and SharePoint consultant but my main focus currently is around Microsoft PPM tools – Project Online and Project for the Web with a focus on the Power Platform. I have been working with Project Server for over 10 years for a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the UK, I work for Corporate Project Solutions, known as CPS – https://www.cps.co.uk

My role at CPS is Head of PPM Solution Architecture and well as Product Manager for the edison365 products: https://www.edison365.com/. 

I have been awarded with the Microsoft Community Contributor Award 2011 and more recently the Project MVP award in April 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 – 2018, 2018 – 2019 and 2019 – 2020.

    I have a few questions from South Africa. Is it possible to skype or email. I just need a bit of a pointer in the right direction.

    We use Project Pro and Project Online hosted on the CLOUD. Am I correct that to use Power BI and your report pack (which looks great) a user must have a Project Online Premium license?


    1. Hi John, a user will just need a Project Online Professional license as that license allows access to the OData feeds.
